Parti med ca. 9.000 liter brugt Q8 Gluck M varmetransmissionsolie, opbevaret i IBC-containere.

Olien har tidligere været anvendt i et industrielt varmetransmissionsanlæg.

IBC-containerne har tidligere indeholdt maling. Det er ikke dokumenteret, om containerne blev rengjort indvendigt inden påfyldning af olien.
